The holiday vacation house and apartments are conveniently located for
sandy beaches & coves, shops and family friendly restaurants catering for all tastes and ages.
The nearest beach is a short 5 minute walk, as is Cala d'Or marina. Shops,
boutiques, restaurants and bars in the centre of Cala Egos, are 3 minute walk.
Other activities like Bowling, Mini-golf, Children's electric bikes, Go-karts,
Trampolines & Tennis Courts, amongst other things can also be reached in minutes by foot.

Due to local amenities and well organised local public transport, car rental
is not essential, a few minute stroll reaches many areas and facilities, a
‘land train’ regularly circulates the locality, also local buses visit one
of the largest beaches Cala Mondrago in the nearby national park.

Cala d'Or is only 1.5km, a few minute drive or 20 minute walk around Cala
d'Or Marina. Palma is approximately a 45 minute drive, and the exceptionally stunning
mountainous Western coastline a little further. Many other attractions like mountain-top
monasteries, local village markets, huge beaches, etc. are all accessible by
short drive by car or taxi.
If you did not collect a rental car from Palma Airport, hire companies have
offices and pickup within walking distance in Cala Egos.
A day out to Sóller:
An excellent day out takes you from Palma to Sóller. This takes
you on a narrow gauge train which winds through stunning mountain valleys, up
into the hills and a tunnel before exposing you to the picturesque town of Sóller
nestled in its valley.
From
Sóller, a short tram ride winds through its quaint streets, down to the lovely
Port de Sóller, the tram runs along the waterside to the centre of the town.
The town offers a wide selection of shops & restaurants.
Golf Courses:
Near-by can be found Vall d'Or golf course, it is approximately 15 minute from
Cala Egos / Cala d'Or
towards Porto Cristo, it
provides an excellent 18 hole course. Non-golfers are welcome, they can visit
its restaurant
for a meal or snack, while relaxing and enjoying the views from it's elevated
position.
